The Judd Parents' Association is a lively group of parents who contribute their time and energy to run events, manage the Second Hand Uniform shop and build relationships across the school community. All funds raised by the JPA are used to enhance the educational experience at Judd.

Looking for a bargain?

The JPA shop sells good quality second hand uniform at less than a third of retail prices. We are very grateful to parents for donating uniform that their sons have grown out of, with many items coming to us barely used (they grow fast!). The shop allows us to enable the re-use of uniform, cuts costs for parents and raises funds for school equipment that benefits all Judd students. Over the summer, our uniform sales provided funds for two sets of new tennis nets; a lovely way to celebrate a return to sport for our students.

Please email jpa@judd.kent.sch.uk to make an appointment to visit the shop. Each appointment lasts ten minutes.

The shop is on the main school site in a green shipping container. Turn left on entering the school vehicle entrance (gates near the sports hall) and drive down the track to the parking area. You will see a green shipping container directly in front of you - that's our shop! There is lots of parking next to the container.

The shop has been adapted to be covid safe. We limit the number of people in the shop. The door and both windows are open. Hand sanitiser is used on entering the shop and face coverings are mandatory.

Payments are accepted by card only (no cheques or cash) and are contactless up to £45.

Has your son outgrown his uniform?

If you have any of the Judd uniform listed below that your son no longer needs please pop it in a bag and send it in to school reception with your son.

We really appreciate donations of blazers, jumpers, ties, house t-shirts, rugby/cricket shirts, PE vests, shorts, sweatshirts and tracksuits.

We no longer accept donations of trousers, shoes, boots, cricket pads/gloves, skins, coats, lab coats, aprons or bags, as shop space is limited and there are lots of local charities who would love to accept these items.

Sadly, we cannot accept donations of any kit with embroidered initials, as they are pretty much impossible to unpick and can lead to post-purchase confusion!

Your kind donations allow a vital service to be offered to Judd families and enable recycling and re-use of pre-loved uniform.

Thank you for your support.
