The Judd Parents' Association is a registered charity.
We aim to:
Support the school and advance the education of pupils in the school.
Develop relationships across the school community.
Our members are all parents, guardians or carers of current Judd students.
The JPA is run by a team that meets every half term, generally in September, November, January, March, May and July. We meet via Zoom and currently plan to hold meetings at 7pm on Tuesday evenings during 2020/21.
The JPA team includes the Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Trustees and ordinary members.
The Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and Trustees have legal obligations to the charity. For more detailed information on these roles and to view our accounts, please click here.
Our ordinary members are not Trustees but regularly attend meetings to offer advice, suggest new initiatives and report on events.
All parents/carers of Judd students are warmly invited to the JPA Annual General Meeting on Thursday 1st October at 7pm. We will look back at the previous year's achievements (2019/20) and look forward to confirming plans, Trustees and members for the upcoming year (2020/21).
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your attendance and receive the Zoom link.
We will be saying goodbye and thank you to our Secretary at the AGM, now that her son has moved on to University. If you would like to have an informal chat about this role or joining the team as an ordinary member or Trustee, please email email@example.com before September 30th.
The Judd School Business Manager is invited to all JPA meetings. The Headteacher attends the AGM and offers advice and guidance throughout the school year. The Judd Senior Leadership Team, Facilities team, School Office, Independent Catering and all of the teachers are always happy to support the JPA with practical help and advice. We are very grateful to everyone at The Judd for helping us to fundraise and bring the school community together.
Please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to join the JPA team. It's a great way to meet other parents across all school years and contribute directly to the school community and educational enrichment for all students.
